Work at Cox and Plant

Cox & Plant is a privately owned business established over 30 years ago. We are located outside Stourbridge in the West Midlands and have 5 adjacent factories.

Manufacturing vibratory conveying systems is our core business. A vibratory conveyor is often used instead of a mechanical conveyor as it is less likely to damage delicate products such as foodstuffs and dishwasher tablets. Sometimes we manufacture a single conveyor for an existing customer to add to a line, although most of the time we manufacture entire processing lines, from the tipper to the bag packer.

Cox & Plant works with a range of carefully selected partners to supply multiheadweighers, colour sorters, x-ray machines and bagging machines.

If you buy cheap-you buy twice!

It's unwise to pay too much,
but it's worse to pay too little.

When you pay too much, you lose a little money-that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot-it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
