To allow the customer to run a production line with consistent, accurate flavouring which was not currently been achieved causing customer complaints and loss of reputation.

The Challenge:

To remove inconsistent flavouring of product caused by a traditional volumetric system.  Inconsistent flavouring is a major cause of customer complaints and can lead to the loss of reputation in an instant.

Our Solution:

Loss in Weight feed systems accurately weigh and control the output of variable products either, continuously or as a batch to weight accuracies of ±0.25% to ±1%.

The system allows the line to run with the usual peaks and troughs that are expected from a batch production system with fryers or roasters. It utilises a loss in weight set up to accurately measure product flow per second to ensure the exact percentage of seasoning is applied to the precise weight of product flow, hence if 2.9% flavouring is specified this will achieved with this system within tolerances.


Customer complaints reduced to near zero, as consistent product seasoning was achieved by increasing the accuracy of weighing and controlling the output of variable products.
