Incline conveyors move your products to the required level in your factory.

There’s a number of reasons why you might want to raise your products:

  • Certain parts of food manufacturing equipment require your products to be at a certain height before they can be processed.
  • You may need to infeed your products to buffer hoppers, outside silos, or storage vessels directly from a tanker delivery.
  • Incline conveying materials from one process i.e. frying to downstream i.e. freezing.

Splitting your production line across multiple levels can help you to make the best possible use of your available space.

Traditionally, raising your products has often involved making use of incline conveyor belts. And while these systems get the job done, they’re loud, they require a lot of energy to run, and they are hard to clean. They are also expensive to maintain due to the need to change the belt and they have a lot of parts.

Graph
In physics, the line of action of a force F is a geometric representation of how the force is applied. It is the line through the point at which the force is applied in the same direction as the vector F→
As part of the direct line of action a HUGE benefit when your products are like ‘birds nests’ or ‘tumbleweeds’ the e-mag action is beneficial in the loosening, even feeding, metering and generally spreading materials over the full width of the conveyor pan.
IQF / Free-flowing / Metered delivery of products allows for accurate calibration and screening of material, the magic ingredients are:
  • A full-width spread of products
  • A monolayer across the whole tray allowing for effective screening/sorting and grading into different fractions as required

Our vibratory incline conveyors

We developed our vibratory incline conveyors capable of achieving an 18° angle. So in one fell swoop, we combined the functionality of an incline conveyor belt with all the benefits that come from using our vibratory conveyor systems. They are cheaper to run and they are easier to clean down, as well as easier to maintain.

If you are not sure that your product would convey on our incline conveyors, then please put us to the test. We have an incline vibratory conveyor set up in our test center, so simply send us your products and we will trial them for you.

Our expert engineers can design a bespoke solution for any situation. Just tell us what we need and we’ll show you what we can do.
